Radiofrequency Surgery –— is a non-traumatic method of skin incision, soft tissue cutting, and vessel coagulation using high-frequency radio waves, which is used for the removal of benign skin lesions.
Unlike electrocautery devices and low-frequency pulsed units, Surtron Flash 160 HF enables incision of the skin surface without damaging healthy tissues, allows precise control of the incision depth, and ensures the formation of a minimal cosmetically acceptable scar or none at all.

How the radio wave removal of skin lesions is performed
Before the radio wave removal procedure, a consultation with dermatoscopy is conducted.
The doctor examines the lesion using a special device — a dermatoscope, makes a preliminary diagnosis, and determines the possibility of removing the lesion using this method.
If there are no contraindications to radio wave removal, informed consent is signed and the procedure is performed. The area of skin with the lesion is thoroughly treated with antiseptic solutions, and local anesthesia is administered. After that, the radio wave removal of the lesion is carried out. The removal site is treated with antiseptic solutions and covered with a bandage. Recommendations for post-procedure care are provided.
What care is required after the procedure
- The area should not be wetted for 2–3 days after the procedure.
- The removal site should be treated with alcohol-free antiseptic solutions until a crust forms.
- Do not attempt to remove the crust yourself; it performs a protective function and will detach on its own during the healing process.
- Visiting a bathhouse, sauna, or swimming pool is contraindicated until complete healing.
- For the best cosmetic result, it is recommended to use sunscreen and avoid direct sun exposure.
