Dermatoscopy – – is a method that allows for early diagnosis of skin cancer. This technique is used to examine the entire skin surface and its elements – papillomas, moles, various neoplasms, etc. Dermatoscopy helps determine the type (benign or malignant) of moles, warts, papillomas, and pigmented spots. The accuracy of dermatoscopic examination is 95%. The method is completely painless.
At our clinic, we also use the methodof digital dermatoscopy with the DermoScan X2 device. This is a modern, non-invasive method for diagnosing skin lesions based on the skin’s ability to reflect and transmit light. This examination is used to establish a more accurate diagnosis, check all skin lesions, and diagnose skin cancer at an early stage. DermoScan X2 is a modern, comprehensive system for digital, standardized photo documentation of the entire body.
The procedure is similar to an ultrasound scan. A dermatoscope is placed on the area of skin where the mole is located, which illuminates the growth with a bright beam of light and allows a magnified image to be obtained.

- regularly monitor changes in the color, shape, and size of moles in patients at risk;

- the ability to provide the patient with a flash card containing a photograph of the skin lesion with a detailed description and diagnostic conclusion;
- speed—the examination allows problem areas on the skin to be identified in a matter of minutes.
